The location was beautiful being in vineyards. Close to one of South Africa’s most famous vineyard. The animals and people were so welcoming when we arrived and we felt like we were at home. We didn’t want to leave. The dogs made friends with us and it was just a beautiful stay. We have booked to come back in a months time. Being able to braii and use the amenities was just beautiful added touch.

The location is perfect, walking distance to the many wine estates around it along walking tracks. The staff are lovely and attentive, it’s a relaxed atmosphere and beautiful outlook down the valley. Breakfast is a great assortment with also a cooked selection if you want, the coffee machine is accessible anytime. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and the bathroom is luxurious. Banhoek Lodge recommended a local driver, Christo, who drove us around to places further than walking distance, he’s a gem! So quiet and serene, we could easily spend a week here!

The property is ideally located between Stellenbosch and Franschoek, and is nestled between the beautiful mountains. The staff is absolutely lovely and gave us the warmest welcome. We want to express our utmost gratitude to Sandra, Jazmin and Candice, who made our stay exceptionally wonderful. The security guard and gardeners, whose names we unfortunately didn’t catch, were also extremely forthcoming and welcoming. Thank you to all of you for making our stay one of the best of our South Africa trip. A special thanks also goes out to Randall, with whom we did the wine tasting, and who is very knowledgable and passionate about the wine in the region. The service throughout our stay was outstanding, even during times of a full-house, we were always served and confronted with positive and smiling staff. We hope to see you all again one day in the near future!!

There are no words to describe our stay at the Log Cabin. We had wonderful, unforgettable moments thanks to Nick and the whole team. The room, the food, the visit to the vineyards, the hot tub, the design, cats et and dog… everything was perfect. Thank you again for all :D And maybe see you soon!

The log cabin was a wonderful experience. From the initial arrival at the log cabin we were greeted warmly and welcomed for a drink. The bar room was very warm and the cats were excellent companions. The food was magnificent (dinner and breakfast). The room was far better than I expected and the bathroom was large and beautiful. What an exceptional experience. I would highly recommend anyone staying at the log cabin.
