We loved the sounds of the animals on the property, all the beautiful spots to sit and relax, the pool area, the incredible sunsets and view of the stars at night. It is a remote location and was perfect for us after a busy 10 days touring the country. The staff were so friendly and attentive and we wanted to stay longer than our three nights. Mohamed, the manager, was truly delightful. we felt so welcomed and we hope to return one day.

We honestly loved everything about our stay at Dar Arghen Family Lodge. It was perfectly clean and very comfortable. We stayed in the room with the private terrace, and it was absolutely amazing. The views were stunning! Even from inside the lodge, and also from the shared rooftop terrace, it’s just beautiful! Said, the host, is incredible. He is so kind and hospitable— anything you need, he’s there and happy to help. The included breakfast is excellent, and I’d also really recommend having dinner there! His mom’s homemade food is terrific!! The location was perfect for us— it’s in a very authentic area just about a ten minute walk (or less) from the grand taxi station, very near to the main part of “town” where there are more places to eat and shop. I really can’t recommend this place enough! Thank you, Said, for everything, we hope to be back very soon!
