Cabins in Ouirgane

Just 1.5 hour from Marrakesh, this was a sanctuary of calm and comfort. The staff are friendly and attentive and the setting is beautiful. We enjoyed our breakfast and dinner (the food is exceptional) in a cosy room with a fireplace and panoramic views of the the Atlas mountains. There is a lovely garden (incl a goat, duck and a chicken) with a swimming pool and even a private hammam. The Manager Mohammed took care of all our requests (even lending me a rain coat) and organized an amazing hiking tour with a brilliant guide, Hassan.

We are 2 days into our 3 day stay. What an amazing place it is. Immaculately clean and wonderful, friendly staff who can’t do enough for you. The food is out of this world and the property itself is huge and beautifully kept. We hope to be back sooner rather than later. Atlas Smile mountain retreat would surely be one of the greatest artists of all time.Do try the cookery classes with a tour of the vegetable and herb garden. A special place.peaceful gardens, luxurious accommodations and attentive service. This is a place to relax but also to get to know the Berber culture.

Amazing stay in a gorgeous location in Ouirgane. Sofiane and team are very welcoming and helpful. Go for a stroll but the river for some peace and quiet.

We spent here three nights and everything was perfect. The room was clean, breakfast and dinner were plentiful and satisfying. With Mustapha being our guide for Mount Toubkal hike we couldn’t wish for a better guide.

everything was clean! the owner was super friendly and helped us organising all our trip to the Toubkal. He also proposed to cook diner for us. We were super happy by the service! good value for money!!!

Rooms and food were great. Terrace had great views (but wasn't fully setup nor 100% clean). Lovely and helpful lady running the place.

A beautiful stone lodge set in a very authentic, incredibly quiet, and peaceful Berber village in the High Atlas mountains. You're a ten minute drive from Armoud, but it's almost impossible to comprehend how such a short distance could yield such positive differences; there is no tourist carnival here nor pushy touts here as in Armoud or Imlil. It's like you're in a different world. This is a rustic mountain retreat, with traditional architecture and sweeping mountains views often frequented by goats; its full of sunlight and beautiful wood. It has a super homey feel, and is spotlessly clean, with incredibly comfortable beds. It's entirely heated by fireplaces making it that much more romantic, lovely and peaceful. It is chilly in winter, but they have plenty of blankets to help keep you warm, and even though I like it hot all the time, I wouldn't wish for central air. This place feels trapped in time and is a true gem. This is where you come to get away from it all and connect with nature, but everything you need is here, including wonderful homemade yogurt and bread for breakfast, and wonderful tea. Malika and the other staff are atttentive without being intrusive, helpful, funny, lovely, accomodating, and genuinely warm, and made my stay that much more genuine and lovely, even teaching me a few Berber words. Here, you can wander out the door into the mountains and meet local shepherds who will invite you to join them for tea on the mountainside with no agenda. The warmth and culture of the Berber people is remarkable. A nice gesture is to bring snacks like candies or treats hard to come by in these mountains and especially tylenol and/or ibuprofen to share with the people who extend you their hospitality. I was often asked for medicine, never money. Even though they seem close to services, many only have mules as transport, and perhaps cannot afford these things. I would definitely return.

Views from balcony as well as dining area were outstanding. Rashid and his family were great to interact with and took care of everything. They made us felt that place like a second home. From car park to hotel, its a short walk but Rashid helped us in carrying our luggage too. He also offered small gift in the end as a kind gesture, which was very sweet of him. Not to forget, dinner served was delicious and something not to be missed although it was little pricey compare to street restaurants but it was worth it. And we also found very good friend Ibrahim(on the street) and shared interesting talks with him. He suggested couple of pointers in the area 1) Waterfall by walk 2) Drive uphill to get city views. Restaurants on the street are decent and people are very friendly and polite.

I had such a great stay at this ecolodge! The place is super cozy and beautifully designed with nature in mind. It felt like the perfect escape! Tougya was so kind and helpful, always making sure everything was just right. You can tell a lot of care has gone into creating a space that's both comfortable and sustainable. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and eco-friendly getaway. Hope to come back soon!
