(This is not a classic accommodation and is therefore exactly the right place for people looking for authenticity) I gained great experiences here and learned a lot about life and nature in Sri Lanka. there is a lot to improve. Amazing place with great food. We loved the cocktails specially the tropical fruit Mojitos. Really refreshing in the hot weather. We had papaya and water melon mojitos.... wow. Pool is amazing and you can feel the freshness. Tracking is highly recommended. Very informal place and you feel relaxed the moment you enter silver hill.

Location is incredible. Staff is so friendly. Got the honeymoon suite for half the price of the website, therefore great value for money. The tent was a dream and we are so happy that we spent one night there. One thing that could have even further improved our stay: a bootle of bubbles in the minibar fridge - we would have bought it :)

This place is absolutely stunning. With comfortable furniture en incredible views all around the building. The owners and the staff are friendly and welcoming. They did everything they could for us, from washing our clothes when we came back from trekking to making one of our favorite breakfast: milk rice. You get a big and luxurious room. Although the place is up in the hills, it's just a quick 10 minute tuktuk drive or a nice 25 minute walk down to town. We totally loved it here!

We really enjoyed the food and the location, the Lodge is lost among paddy fields, mountains, palm trees and beautiful small villages. The room was really confortable it has a nice terrasse and a stunning view on their beautiful garden where we saw peacocks passing by and also a lot of caméléon and beautiful lézards The family is also very kind and we could enjoy a new year party with them, playing games with kids, sharing food and observing fireworks! Waji speaks amazing French! .
