This was better than I was expecting! David and Amy both met us upon our arrival and welcomed us to the area. The cabin itself was beautiful and unique, very clean and comfortable. I loved waking up in the morning and opening the full length window onto the garden and taking in a deep breath while looking out over the countryside. This was a very restful, peaceful stay and my boyfriend and I had a great time exploring Sligo! I would highly recommend this cabin.

Lovely rural countryside with total silence at night. Just a few minutes drive back to the main roads to Sligo and the attractions of the area. We loved the authentic character of this Irish country cottage rather than staying in just another bland new built home. It had character and history. The owner Mary had put many thoughtful little touches throughout the home to make your stay more enjoyable. She’s a pleasure to deal with. We’ll be back.

It took 20 minutes from Sligo station on foot so I didn’t necessarily to use a taxi to get there. The room was really clean and it was a shared bathroom but I could use it without any stress. I could sleep well and it was really relaxing and comfortable. If I go back to Sligo, I definitely will stay here again.
