It was an amazing time in Costa Rica—huge thanks to Agustín! The place is simple yet charming, with incredible breakfasts and the kindest, most helpful people. Located in the heart of Tamarindo, it’s just steps from restaurants and within walking distance of the beach. Plus, there’s a grocery store right across the street. We knew it would be lively at night, but it wasn’t an issue. Agustín provided us with earplugs, which helped a lot—we slept well despite the music outside. The atmosphere and energy here are absolutely unbeatable. For beach lovers: head to the left side for a quieter, soft sandy beach. If you’re looking for more action, the right side offers surfing, beach clubs and the massage for $35-$40/hour ;) Thank a lot, Agustín for such welcoming hospitality!;)l

Vey clean room, well maintained property. Lovely and exceptionally hospitable owners. Quiet,yet close to Tamarindo and the surrounding beaches- 10-14 min by car. Great breakfast- enjoyed the French crepes every morning, eggs, delicious coffee, homemade yogurt, fresh fruits, gallo pinto, almond cake and more. Nice pool, very refreshing for the hot weather.

Very well maintained property up in the hills near the Avellanas area. You’re in the mountains but close to the beach, so it’s a perfect balance. I felt so welcomed when I arrived and the property was really cozy. I especially liked the yoga deck and the hammocks there. The morning yoga was really good, and there are plenty of other classes held at La Esquina 300 meters away. Internet connection was good and the walk to the beach was fast. Sunset was magical. If I ever were to visit Playa Avellanas agan, it's a given I would stay here!!!
