I loved my stay at Tama Lodge, we stayed in several hotels during our visit to Costa Rica, but this hotel took all our love, the attention was great, plus the price is very low for being in Tamarindo. The room was very comfortable and nice, if we return to Costa Rica, we will definitely return to Tama Lodge.

Laid back, tasteful and in keeping with the nature that surrounds, waking distance to the beach and good eating options around if you don’t want to venture far. We can not say enough good things about this place. The owner, Kristian, is very pleasant. Very courteous. Natalia is amazing. This was the most accommodating place that we've ever stayed. When my partner and I first arrived, we felt a little apprehensive about the location. It seemed a little quieter than we were expecting. But it ended up being so perfect. We have absolutely no regrets. Natalia found us so many great activities. It was a much better experience than being in a super touristy location. The pool is also great. If you're a dog lover, the owner has an amazing dog that will love you as much as you love him! If not, that's ok too. He doesn't get in your way. There's food walking distance from the hotel. You will be walking about 10-15 minutes on a hot dirt road. They're might be some bike rentals/car rentals in town. If you prefer to stay in, Natalia will make breakfast and dinner, which is a great option.
