The property was meticulously curated, and the staff were carefully chosen for their generosity and hospitality. The food and welcome drinks were well prepared; they include selections that I am confident many will try for the first time. Clubbing with safari makes you feel comfortable because they can arrange everything to make your safari trip more convenient. I met Umasha, the safari coordinator; she was excellent and very knowledgable about flora and fauna. Our enjoyable stay at Camp Leopard was made possible by the expertise of the personnel. We had an unforgettable two-night stay at Yala Wild House, and I can't recommend it enough! The accommodation is perfectly nestled in the heart of nature, offering an immersive jungle experience. The wildlife here is abundant, with vibrant birds all around and the stunning starry skies at night—a true paradise for nature lovers. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, making for a peaceful retreat after a day of exploration. What really made our stay exceptional, though, was the owner. He is the most welcoming, kind-hearted person you'll ever meet, and his passion for Yala National Park shines through in everything he does. He went out of his way to make us feel at home, even helping us arrange a safari at a very reasonable price. The food was another highlight. The family serves up traditional Sri Lankan dishes that are both flavorful and satisfying. Every meal was a delight! If you're looking for a genuine, off-the-beaten-path experience in Yala, Yala Wild House is the place to stay. The combination of great hospitality, incredible surroundings, and delicious food makes it a truly special spot. Highly recommended!

We stayed at Big Game safari camp for 2 nights, we had a very stylish glamping tent that we stayed in - it was very comfortable and immersive in the jungle nature. Big Game organised a full day safari for us which was amazing! We saw so many animals (tusk elephants, leopard, sloth bear, crocodiles, water buffalo, etc). They prepared great breakfast, lunch & dinners for us also & we really enjoyed our time at Big Game. Would recommend to a friend!

This place was an absolute one of a kind. I cannot explain how amazing the owner and his team were. They made sure we had everything we needed including charging our devices, making me a herbal tea, freshly squeezed juice, providing beer to purchase etc. We had the Sri Lankan dinner and it was probably the best food we had on our whole trip. They provided a gorgeous environment with a fire pit for the evening time. The breakfast was amazing and they organised the safari for us too. They also come and pick you up and drop you off at a pick up point, with very good communication. It was a true jungle experience and nothing was too much for the owner and his amazing staff. Thank you!!

We loved the entire experience of being looked after by the owner Nilantha and Elizabeth and all the staff in such a lovely way but also being in such a simple and authentic environment. The dinner under the stars was standout. The food was great. The great conversations were so wonderful. The whole day safari was something we will always remember. So much care and passion from Nilantha and our driver. We absolutely loved it.

I agree with the previous reviews. The location is absolutely spectacular. Most definitely the most scenic view we’ve had in Sri Lanka. Its also very private and we had the beach and dunes virtually to ourselves and the other couple that were in the Dune camp. The food and the service was great. The tents are a bit dated, but the beds are very comfortable and all have nets. This is not super luxury but the price is also much less than the super luxury campsites. We would highly recommend this place. They also arranged the safari for us. We have heard horror stories re the jeep drivers at Yala but the driver they arranged was very good and mindful of not disturbing the wildlife.

I had a wonderful experience at Yala Way Nature Villa. It provided us with excellent family-friendly services. Located in a very quiet environment, this is a great place for those who love the environment. Delicious local food was served and we were able to spend a beautiful night with barbecue. The place has been renovated with a new look and is very clean. That night spent under a starry sky made our lives beautiful.
