The facilities were amazing; we stayed in a room with a spectacular view for watching the sunrise. The bed was very comfortable, and everything was very clean. The staff was incredibly kind and always willing to help with anything we needed. I’m vegan, and when you let them know in advance, they offer amazing food alternatives — they were very considerate and accommodating. The pool was also fantastic — swimming there in the middle of the desert was an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend it and wouldn’t hesitate to come back.

The tents are very spacious and well equipped, the camp is well organized and clean. What sets this place apart are two things. 1. It’s very private with only 4 tents; 2. The service is simply amazing, they are so friendly and attentive. Delicious dinner and breakfast, which is rare in the desert.

From Omani hospitality to traditional dancing demonstrations, through a full tour of the desert, meet up with camels roaming around, we felt so comfortable with Saeed, who shared with passion all his knowledge with us. Authentic food was served as well, including traditional Omani dishes and fresh grills, including traditional bread cooking in the fire. It was an amazing experience, totally adapted for kids, group of friends and families!

For those who don’t want to relax they can go sleighing from the highest dune while the occasional camel observes your performance. When the night falls a delicious meal is served and after that you can gather around the campfire to share your stories. Don’t miss the beautiful sight of the sun rising over the sand dunes. Salem and his team have really made this into a wonderful place to experience the desert.

The check-in is just so much fun right from the start: your 4x4 tires are deflated, and off you go through the dunes to the campsite. Rashid is a great host, very warm and welcoming, and very attentive to his guests. The room was unique and very comfortable, we had a restorative night there. The food for dinner and breakfast was delicious as well, in good quantity, served on this elevated platform with a view of the desert camp and the dunes. It was a lovely stay!

We really enjoyed our experience staying in the desert. We had beautiful sunset and sunrise. We booked the dinner and breakfast which was delicious. Badr was great, he picked us up from the carpark and dropped us off to our car the next day. On the way he showed us the camels and a Bedouin camp nearby. Him and the other staff also spend time with everyone around the bonfire telling us stories about life in the desert and singing songs. The tents and bathrooms are basic but the bed is comfortable and it feels like an authentic experience. We would visit again and would like to express our gratitude to Badr for making this a great experience for us.
