Walter is a very concerned person and since we informed him about our arrival time, he was attentive, unfortunately the bus company we chose to travel from Kampala to Kabale was not the best and we were left stranded in the middle of the road and he took care to offer us a solution, even when it was late and it was not his responsibility, details like this are what make the difference between a place that only seeks to make money and one that really cares about their guests. Regarding the studio, it was well located, had everything we needed, as well as good insulation against external noise and good curtains that kept the room dark, guaranteeing a good rest. We will definitely come back!

Nos consiguió todas las cosas que necesitabamos. El lugar esta cercano a colegios donde los niños te saludan al salir y al entrar. Recomendable este lugar.

Riverside Resort Hotel Kabale tiene jardín, salón de uso común, terraza y restaurante en Kabale. This was our second stay here and the staff warmly welcomed us back. The room and bathroom are very large and clean. Quiet neighbourhood for a good night sleep but walking distance to the main road. Great value breakfast. Lovely gardens to relax in. Safe secure parking with a security guard.

Itambira Island, Seeds of Hope dispone de jardín, terraza, restaurante y bar en Chabahinga. El hotel también ofrece wifi gratis y parking privado gratis. Itambira Seeds of Hope has been one of the most special places we stayed at during our 2 month East Africa trip. Lake Bunyonyi and the islands are gorgeous to begin with. Seeds of Hope had very decent and good quality amenities: comfy beds, proper mosquitoe net (in Africa you will find out that not every mosquitoe net provided is functional, some of them won't cover the whole bed...etc. that wasn't the case), hot water. Yes, there were specific hours when they provided hot water and internet but that was understandable given the fact that you are really in a remote place. Overall the staff was a bit too serious (I was wondering if they were happy to live/work there) but cordial. The island is lovely to explore. Make sure you go up and visit the tiny school. The teacher lady there does an amazing job and you can even get to spend time with the kids. The views are gorgeous. We did the Batwa pygmy people tour which was nice (especially the sailing part) but a bit overrated. Instead stay here 2 nights min to relax, unwind, read and recover in between tiring periods of your trip. Totally worth it.

The location is great; small island in lake Bunyonyi, perfect to disconnect for some days from the busy Kampala. There is not much to do around, but that fits perfect if what you are looking for is peace and quiet. The lodge has a private swimming deck to the lake- highly recommended to go for a swim there! And shoutout to the library they have- it made by day when I got there. They also provide with free Black Tea in case you fancy that as companion to the reading, appart from the great views. The profits from the lodge go back to the island communities, so we paid dinner with pleasure.

Wycliffˋs Eco Resort está en Kabale y ofrece alojamiento con parking privado gratis. Wycliff es un anfitrion estupendo, la habitación bastante grande pero las vistas desde allí son increíbles. Me organizo un paseo en barco de 2 horas por el lago, tambien organiza otros tours, como el de Batwa. Tenéis que reservar su alojamiento, el dinero lo utiliza para ayudar a los niños.

La situación es inmwjorable y el personal, Fiona, Kakulo y Ibra, son maravillosos, hacen tu estancia inmejorable!! Buena comida, tour en barca...
