Excellent hotel experience! The service at reception was outstanding, with one incredibly kind and helpful individual. We had a parking issue and she truly went above and beyond to assist us. Our room was more like an apartment – spacious, comfortable, with a generous bathroom, a well-equipped kitchenette, and a cozy bedroom. The fireplace was a huge bonus, especially since it was 0 degrees Celsius during our stay. The late checkout approval was also a tremendous help. Highly recommend!

Very confortable place to enjoy the tatras mountains around. The breakfast included was delicious!

Location was close to the downtown area. Good breakfast selection.

The property also offers free parking. Everything was new and clean. We had a nice looking room with ceiling windows at the new building. There was no teapot in the room, but you can always get some boiling water in the kitchen downstairs. There are also tables there, so we could eat and drink tea in the evening. They have billiards table and boarding games so people hang out there sometimes. The rooms were quiet and we had a good sleep there. Breakfast was simple, but tasty and there were always some options to eat, even for vegetarians (but for meat lovers options were better:). Usually they serve eggs (boiled or scrambled), sometimes sausages, spreads, bread, cheese and ham, butter, jams, corn flakes and milk, fresh vegetables and fruits. Coffee, tea and juice (artificial) to drink.

Horský Hotel Popradské Pleso is 200 metres away from the lakeshore of Popradske Pleso Lake and features a restaurant with traditional Slovak meals and international cuisine. The bar is open daily. First of all, the reception staff who were very friendly and helpful. I arrived exhausted and asked about changing my reservation from a dorm to private room which they dealt with very professionally. The room was comfortable with a great view. Second night was in the dorm and it was nicely laid out . Breakfast is superb but best of all is the location. Stunning.

Just 300 metres from the Jakubova lúka Ski Centre, this apartment house can be found 1 km from the centre of Starý Smokovec. It offers a self-catered accommodation with free WiFi in public areas and rooms. Was even better, than I expected. The photos of the room do not show full picture. The room had everything we needed: cosy dining area, equiped with kitchenette, big bathroom, comfy beds. And most important for us - they allow dogs!
