We stayed in Huaraz for a month and in between our hikes we stayed at Andean Hostal. When we return to Huaraz in future this would be only place we will stay in. They also offer and organize all tours at the best rates.

Our stay at Cordillera was great. The hotel was clean, modern and the bed was comfortable. The location of the hotel was in a nice quiet area so it wasn’t noisy at night. The staff were friendly and very welcoming and helped us with everything we needed. We chose to do our hike privately and not with a group tour and Edisson (reception staff) helped us organise the private taxi the day before with no issues. We also left very early one morning at 5am for one of our hikes and the hotel organised a packed lunch for us as we were going to miss breakfast. If you are staying in Huarez, i highly recommend this hotel!

Love the breakfast here, it was different every morning and they were all delicious. Paul is super helpful, not only he helped me arrange local tours, he is also very knowledgable of the local transportations and nearby hikes so I couldn take public transport and hike on my own. Also very considerate, make sure I have properly acclimatized before doing any hikes. On days that I had to leave early to a tour, I was given bread (basic but still nice) to take with me.

El Hotel Churup ofrece alojamiento en Huaraz. Todos los días se sirve un desayuno buffet gratuito que incluye café recién molido, tostado y preparado, fruta, verduras de temporada y huevos. ¡Todoo!. El desayuno deliciosooo. Camas cómodas, cerca a la plaza principal, muy amable el personal. Muy bohemio el lugar, me gustó mucho.
