Rooms are very large and aircons are quiet and I found 24c setting was fine for me. My buddy and I stayed here for our diving vacation. Small restaurants and supermarket nearby as are ATM's. Pretty much everywhere you go has wifi so we did not get a sim card for Maldives.

Gaining my open water diver certification through them was seamless and thrilling, especially the dive with Tiger sharks – a memory I’ll cherish forever. The quality of our room was beyond our expectations, offering luxury and comfort in equal measure. This, combined with the fun explorations around the island, made our stay truly enjoyable. A special mention goes to Haam’s proactive approach in resolving a minor hiccup with the internet speed. Understanding the necessity of a stable connection for my work, he arranged for a private internet service at a reasonable cost, significantly improving my work efficiency. Overall, Ataraxis Grand and Spa is not just a hotel; it’s an experience that captures the essence of Maldives Fuvahmulah.

The Sri Lankan chef prepared special dishes for us. The hotel's garden is a little jewel box. We felt very comfortable here, we will definitely come back here soon.

I was glad to have the pick-up & drop-off included since the place is far from harbour (and airport), but close to a nice beach (not really suitable for swimming).
