The stay in this small town was very pleasant. Thanks to the kind owners of the hostel and the café downstairs, I felt truly welcome. The café space between the lower café and the hostel was open to guests, and I enjoyed spending my evening there. The room was adorable and clean, with a nice view of the river and the bridge – which lit up at night in rhythm to Korean hits, including Dynamite by BTS, which really made me smile. Danyang was magical, and if I ever travel in the area again, I will definitely come back.

She helped us pick lettuce and other veggies for dinner. The surroundings are very quiet and green. Loved the wireless TV stand as well. The creek is right in the backyard of the house, which had cute golf practice nets and clean creek to take a dip on a hot summer day.

Mari Hotel se encuentra en Chungju, a 2,4 km de Chungju International Martial Arts Park y a 2,8 km de Tangeumdae Park. It really does have excellent design! I wasn't expecting much given the low price, but it's a beautiful little hotel. Also clean, spacious and comfortable in a great location. Great bathroom. Bicycle friendly. Eco-friendly toiletries available. Loved it.

We stayed for just one night and arrived quite late, but the staff was incredibly welcoming and kind. They went out of their way to assist us with parking, which we really appreciated. Great first impression and warm hospitality!
