The apartment was spotlessly clean, warm, comfortable, well appointed and modern. Everything you need was available, washing machine, dishwasher, hair dryer, fridge, iron etc etc . The location was good for us - we were a family of 5 adults and we liked the walk along side the coastline and past the golf club on Salthill Promenade . We also walked to the city which was an approx 35 minute walk but we like to walk so it suited us but the walk to the city may be too much for a family with young children so a car would be useful. There are also taxi’s/ubers available which we used one time as we were going out to dinner. Uber was quick and easy. If you don’t want to go into the city - which would be a shame if you didn’t - there are lots of bars, pubs, shops, cafes and restaurants on the street behind the apartment and 5 mins walk away. But I would recommend a visit to the city as we visited the cathedral which was beautiful and the Spanish arch. We also did a tour of some of the well known pubs such as Garavans which was recommended to us. And some of our party took a dip in the sea off the platform on Salthill Promnede! We loved Galway and would definitely go back.

I would take a taxi from the bus the next time because I didn’t realize I would be pushing my suitcase uphill. The view from my room was over a beautiful garden. Breakfast excellent and caring owners. They even took me with my things to the bus when I had to leave. I would (and will) return!

West Haven House está en Doolin, a 10 km de Acantilados de Moher, y dispone de alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis y terraza. El desayuno es fantástico, y está muy bien de precio. Hicimos viaje parando una noche en cada sitio, y sin duda, el mejor desayuno fue el de West Haven House. Además no nos cobró el de nuestra hija adolescente. La habitación amplia y muy bonita.

Old Irish farmhouse está en Dingle, a 15 km de Acuario Dingle Oceanworld y a 10 min a pie de Slea Head, y dispone de vistas al mar y wifi gratis. En el agroturismo se sirve un desayuno continental. Awesome room at an amazing location! My room was spotless with a view of the ocean and one of the ancient beehive huts. Breakfast options were endless: different kinds of bread/ cereals/ milk/ jam/ ham/ cheese/ fruits to cater for all dietary needs. The host speaks enough English to show me around. He even let me see and feed the baby lambs which was a lovely experience! I really wish I speak the language to learn more about the history of the house. The cleaner was super friendly too. I had travelled around in hostels days prior to this and this was supposed to be an affordable comfy stay for a night to break it up a bit, and it surpassed my expectation!
