When you go to Olympos you are going to enjoy the local hospitality, local cuisine and the culture of the place and this was the best part of my trip and my stay in Olympos.

If you go to Karpathos there are plenty of places to stay on or near the beach but I would highly recommend the traditional village of Olympos, especially if you want peace and quiet amazing views and a more traditional experience. The host was friendly and communicative, and the room was large and comfortable with a spectacular view. There is a small kitchenette for self-catering and a large balcony with comfortable furniture to enjoy the view. Plenty of hot water in the shower since there is a solar water heater. Note that the bed is a traditional style wooden elevated bunk that requires stairs to get in and out of. Olympos village is amazing, full of friendly locals and delicious food at the many tavernas. Highly recommended I will definitely be going back.

Beautiful home baked cookie's on arrival made by Kostas mammy which were delicious. Also a very thoughtful send off gift. Will definitely stay there again.

Situated in Olympos, 1.8 km from Fisses Beach, Aphrodite Hotel features views of the garden. Built in 1993, the property is within 37 km of Folklore Museum Karpathos and 43 km of Pigadia Port. Rooms are fitted with a balcony with mountain views and free WiFi. Great room with the most beautiful view! Everything was clean and the bathroom was really good. Our host was so welcoming and his wife is a great cook. We really loved staying here!

The property is beautifully situated atop of a small bluff, steps away from a beach. The surrounding is gorgeous, peaceful and secluded. The room was equally serene, with deco that was minimalist but inviting, combining white walls with earth tone accents (better than shown on pictures, but I was told my room was updated). The bedding was white and very clean; the mattress super comfortable. The view from the balcony was enchanting! Last but not least, Carl and Margot were lovely hosts. They are a wealth of knowledge about the island. They gave me valuable tips as to where to go and when, and all in all, went above and beyond to ensure my stay was super comfortable.

Within 500 metres, you will find shops, a mini market and a restaurant. The apartment was really spacious and clean with a breathtaking view! It was so convenient having a fully equipped kitchen,bathroom and living room. The location was exceptional, really close to both the town and some of the beaches. As for Niki the owner, she is a wonderful young woman, really polite and knowledgeable about the area. Always there for you.
