Amalia Olympia is located in the entrance of Ancient Olympia. Surrounded by Mediterranean gardens, it features an outdoor pool, restaurant and spacious lounges and a bar with fireplace. Free WiFi is available in all areas. A big old hotel that performs perfectly! I say old because you can find many details from older hotels there is a telephone in the bathroom....This doesn't ruin your stay it just makes you laugh. They had the most comfortable (a pretty ) robes. The reception was friendly and helpful and very efficient. We got a free upgrade without even asking for it. We received a full size bottle of wine complimentary, and we only stayed one night! We didn't try the buffet dinner, but the breakfast buffet had great variety. You could tell by the very polite and professional staff that we met at breakfast ,cleaning the rooms ... that this hotel is run well and their staff takes pride in their work.

Flisvos Hotel also provides rooms for the disabled. - much better than my expectations - excellent location (in a less busy neighbourhood but still in walkable distance from the main attractions) - plenty of public parking spaces outside the hotel, although they offer free private parking - spacious room with a balcony and a fantastic view (including those rooms on the side like mine) - really value for money (I do appreciate reasonable prices)
