From coffee capsules and towels to a hair dryer and even detergents, everything was thoughtfully provided. It went far beyond our expectations. The location is perfect, right in the heart of the city, with a large supermarket just a short walk away and a pharmacy right across the street. I can’t emphasize enough how wonderful our stay was. This was the only property we stayed at in Switzerland with AC thank goodness. It was also in a good central location in Lugano. The room was very clean and comfortable and also the beds were wonderful and we slept very well. Self check-in was easy and efficient and the hosts were responsive. We were able to get to Valle Verzasca from this location which took about 1.5 hours. 100% recommend!!

Newly opened, beautifully decorated, air conditioned bedrooms, great facilities, family-run and extremely friendly. Set on the banks of Lake Lugano, the terrace, where you have breakfast/ drinks has amazing views across the lake. The breakfast is outstanding- freshly baked breads to start, followed by homemade waffles, and finished off with any type of eggs and bacon. Fabulous orange juice and tea/coffee. The owners also recommended an Italian restaurant 3 minutes walk away, and even reserved a table for us. The food and staff there were amazing too! Villa Patria is a little gem! Can highly recommend!

We had a wonderful time in this house. Everything was exactly as described, if not better! The location is ideal: quiet, safe, and perfect for relaxing. The house was clean, well-equipped, and very comfortable. The host was incredibly kind and helpful, always available to answer any questions. Her warmth and hospitality truly made the difference. I highly recommend this place, and I will definitely come back next time!
