The experience here was absolutely amazing, located very close to the historic sites and with the best hosts you could ask for, making the whole experience very enjoyable! The rooms are former madrassa study rooms, which were very clean and were able to keep well insulated. The air conditioning was nice and cold too - perfect for a Khiva summer! Because we were brand new to the city, the hotel manager organised a four hour walking tour for us which was incredible and allowed us to get a better picture of just how historic of a city Khiva is. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking at travelling to Khiva.

Probably the best hotel you can find in Khiva, staff is very friendly and helpful. Its very clean, neat and tidy with authentic looks. Their tours and prices beats any you can find in Khiva, the driver Djalaladden is fantastic. I definitely will stay here again and recomend to anyone. Its also very central right in the hearth of Khiva.

Umar hotel was amazing! It is well located in Khiva and very close to key locations like Itchan Kala! My room is also spacious, clean, and I really liked it! What really made me enjoy my stay was the amazing help and support by Sulaiman and Shirzad! They were really kind and supportive and helped me so much while I was in Khiva! I highly recommend staying at Umar hotel! I also plan to stay here again if I visit Khiva again, many thanks and much appreciated again, Umar hotel :D :)!!!

Such nice services! Hats down to the personnel, such hard working boys. Especially the shuttle service worked perfectly and always on time to pick us up, we didn’t even feel like we weren’t in the city center. It is also suuper close by car anyways. Rooms are big and comfortable. Would come again

We loved our stay at Anor Qal’a! Location was very convenient- only 5-7 minute walk to Itchan Qala (old city). It’s newly renovated with spacious rooms and bathrooms. It was super clean and immaculate. Breakfast was an array of delicious traditional foods brought to the table. Staff are very friendly and helpful, even packed us some snacks before our outbound flight.

Lovely guesthouse in an ideal location - one of the best places I have stayed in Uzbekistan. Breakfast was great, room was lovely, family were very welcoming and helpful. The owner gave me a free lift to the station because he was heading that way - it's that sort of place!
