We stayed one night when passing through the LA area, we were so impressed we chose to return and stayed our last night in California before flying home to NZ. Check out time of midday is great, meant we could enjoy the sunshine and pool the afternoon we checked in and half the following day. Our AC was a bit noisy the first stay but absolutely no complaints on our second visit. We stayed in both upstairs and ground level rooms and our preference was the ground floor. Great room and well set up bathroom with modern fit out. Pool area and gardens are immaculate. A very attractive property and very nice staff.

Spacious room with very comfortable beds. Air-conditioning thermostat that actually worked, making for a comfortable temperature during our entire stay. Swift and easy check-in. Very friendly and helpful staff in all departments. Spacious shower, first class amenities. Only a few minutes walk to a number of restaurants and a great supermarket. During our 23-day trip through the western USA this was by far the best hotel we stayed at. Only 30 minutes drive to Universal Studios (if you avoid rush hour) and ca 25/35 min to Malibu/Santa Monica beach if you take the scenic route via Las Virgenes Road and Highway 1. We will be back. Thank you to all staff at Cambria Hotel Calabasas!
