If you are visiting El Nido, the best place to stay at is undoubtedly The Funny Lion Hotel. I received the best treatment and service from the beginning of my stay until the last moment. The whole team is attentive, and extremely friendly. Their breakfast, excursions, pool, location are exceptional. Don't hesitate to have a "MARDITA" house Margarita, and say hello to the best hotel manager in the world, Mr. Nilo.

a hotel to repeat. a success. We wanted to remove driving miles between northern Palawan, San Fernando and Puerto Princesa and we stayed here one night. The last stretch of the road is bad but then comes the reward. a super quiet place, free parking, a super large pool with sea views. The beach is like the rest, you don't even use it because the best beaches are on the islands although what we were looking for was parking, a pool, and tranquility. Good dinner and correct price, fair Internet, feeling of peace, few people, super good bed, two sinks, large toilet, the water heater is not easy to regulate, very good price quality. new staff. a place outside the chaos of El Nido. we will come back

We only stayed one night but if we could, we would have loved to stay longer. You can hear the waves and wake up to a terrific sea view. Breakfast was quite nice at an affordable price, again with the view. Upon arrival, we were met with really good lemonade which felt great in the heat. Beds are comfy, room is very well lit and cooled. Bathroom was very clean and most importantly communication prior to arrival was very helpful.

We stayed 6 nights at Richard’s place and we had the best time! Richard is the best host we’ve ever met, he was helping us from the moment we arrived to El Nido till the very end. He picked us up at the airport, gave us a ride to the beach multiple times, hooked us up with an amazing tour guide and made our stay unforgettable. As soon as we arrived to the villa we felt right at home, the place was very clean and tidy (and fully stocked with plenty of beer water and other beverages🙌🏼) and we loved the big terrace/living room area. We’d 100% recommend his place to anyone and if we ever return to El Nido we would definitely love to stay at his place again! Thanks Richard! 🤝
