Beautiful location, authentic environment. Basic accommodation but clean and has the charm. Great for a couple of day active stay in the mountains. Hosts are very friendly and helpful. Locally sourced and delicious food.

The apartment is so lovely, well decorated and clean. It was a little cold when we went but we had heaters and it was so warm and cosy inside. The view from the balcony is just incredible! The kitchen is well stocked and we could make our own food. The water was hot too. The owner is super nice and we did a tour with him in his car around the mountains which was great. He gave us some umbrellas too as we had rain when we went. The transfers were easy to arrange. Everything was absolutely great and I’d defo go again and would recommend this place! We went with our toddler and he also loved it!

What a beautiful place to spend a few hours or days when you travel in this wonderful country. Birkat al Mouz is a very beautiful village, surrounded by dates and old Omani houses. The hotel is amazing and we wish we had time to spend a few more nights there. Great staff, kind people around you and a village full of things to do. Every trip to Oman should have a stop there and the hotel makes things even more great!!!

The resort is built on a plateau next to a cliff , the views are breathtaking, the gardens is full of olive trees, pomegranates, and other fruit bearing trees, also full of roses and flowers. The breakfast was fresh and delicious, the staff were very friendly and attentive, we took the 3 villages cultural hike, it was ammaaazzziiinnnggg , our guide Mr Hasan was extremely helpful, very knowledgeable and well informed, speaks excellent English, knows the area extremely well , the hike was the highlight of our stay , highly recommended .
