Very nice accommodation in the desert, which is a great departure from the classic hotel accommodation. If you have the nature to do without the usual hotel room environment, you will be thrilled. The sunrise and sunset are beautiful.

Sand Delight Camp is located in the desert of Waheba Sands in Oman. It is surrounded by sand dunes. Free tea and coffee is provided throughout the day.

Our stay at the desert camp was truly unforgettable! The camp was exceptionally clean and well-maintained, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The hospitality was outstanding, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The food was also great, both dinner and breakfast offered great variety and delicious flavors, perfect after a day of adventure. Stargazing at night was magical, with the clear desert sky filled with countless stars—a truly mesmerizing experience. During the day, the thrill of dune bashing was an absolute adrenaline rush, adding excitement to the tranquility of the desert. We had a great time in this camp. It's located a bit further then other camps, which ensures privacy and peace. The camp has a cozy common area where you can socialize with other guests and drink tea/coffee and eat dates. The beds in our tent were the most comfortable we slept in all Oman. Our host Saíd speaks fluent English and is ready to answer all your questions about the desert, beduin life, camels and so on. He also took us dune bashing (riding in 4x4 car across the dunes - great fun) and to see the sunset in the most beautiful place. They really went out of their way to make our stay in the camp special. They made delicious traditional dinner for us and then we sat around the fire and drummed and danced traditional dances. I can totally recommend.

Amazing villa on the edge of the desert. Tushar and Mohammed were excellent hosts and the Villa was just what we were looking for. Being able to swim in the pool to cool off was so good and Tushar organised us dinner one night which fed us for 2 dinners and a lunch! Highly recommend staying here.

Very nice camp, host was very friendly and made me feel welcome. Had lots of omani coffee, dates, and fruit. Showed me his camels and I got to help feed them. We also went quad biking in the dunes which I thought would be scary but it wasn't. Went above and beyond to give me a good experience, I am celiac and explained that I can't eat gluten and his sister made me a special breakfast. Pickup was easy and straightforward. Beautiful sunrise and sunset watching from the dunes. Best calue for money that i have found in Oman. Highly recommend!

Our stay at La Duna Desert Camp was truly unforgettable. The food was excellent, fresh, and full of flavor. The dune bashing tour was a real highlight — exciting and well organized. The tent itself was unique, comfortable, and beautifully designed, giving the perfect balance between adventure and relaxation. Everything was clean and well maintained, and the staff were friendly and attentive. I usually don't review stays but for this one I'm glad to make the exception. The bedouin camp is simply an awesome place to stay, not just because of the location and great tent camp, also (mostly) because of the host and his family. They were so open, friendly, and spent so much time with us. The host proudly showed us his animals, we were lucky to see a 1 day old camel, and then treated us on some dune bashing. After that, a great diner was served, and we met many many of his family members at the camp fire. Thanks again Badr!!
