I spent wonderful days there, reconnected with nature and with the projects of the region. The people are very kind, the food is always very tasty and made with local ingredients. The staff help us a lot with suggestions for tours and tourism. The room is also very comfortable. I highly recommend this place.

How can we describe these days at Chital Lodge? We immediately felt at home. A place nestled in the jungle, just steps away from Chitwan National Park. We slept in a hut, surrounded by many (perhaps too many) insects, and washed with lukewarm water, but the energy of this place is indescribable. Bhisnu, the owner, is an exceptional guide, an extraordinary chef, and a wonderful person. Manoj, his right-hand man, won us over right away with his kindness and his beautiful smile. The homestay was absolutely lovely - Hari's parents and his little cousins are so open and welcoming and the food was so yummy but the biggest highlight of this stay was the Safari walk through the National Park. We saw so many animals that would have been missed if we were in a jeep and Hari's knowledge of all the animals was phenomenal Highly, highly recommend!

Such a beautiful home with the perfect balance of home like but still good facilities like a hotel. You get brought into the family and end up staying much longer than you originally thought you would , highly highly recommend and I will be returning in the future without a doubt. Good value for money and very cool walking safari, but honestly I could’ve just stayed at the house for a week. Great time

Tiger Wildlife Resort was my home for two weeks. Besides the beauty of the place, perfect for those who seek quiet surroundings, what was truly remarkable is the care I received as a guest here. I felt like a VIP, a princess even, as the owners, Gambir, and the rest of the team, went out of their way to make my stay absolutely perfect. I was given what I believe is the best room on the property, with a balcony facing the park, from which every morning I would see all sorts of animals: deers, rhinos, boars and countless birds (among which peacocks and black storks and openbills) The food here is absolutely excellent, always freshly made and very tasty. The chef is so sweet, always doing his best to satisfy my (many!) requests. The safaris and tours were also lovely experiences, as the parks in the area have lots to offer. I recommend taking the time to visit Tikauli and the 20k lake. I also enjoyed walking around the rural village and talking to a few locals who seem to adore foreigners. In general, I would imagine staying here about 5 days is enough to tick all the touristy stuff of the list... unless - like me - you're not in a rush about seeing this and that, maybe you work online and enjoy taking some time away from more mundane life.. then stay as long as your heart feels and discover how wholesome it is to become a Tiger Wildlife family member !
