The rooms were beautiful, we were given an upgrade to a room with a view of both the water fall and the reservoir. Absolutely breathtaking and great to watch sunset! The food was some of the best we’ve had in Sri Lanka, and the hotel is so peaceful. It’s walking distance to Ramboda Falls and a short TukTuk ride to tea plantations. Highly recommend staying here!

Like the other comments said: staying here is an unforgettable experience. We were lucky enough to be here when the two sons paid a visit to there mom (the woman managing this homestay) and we felt like we were part of their family. Very friendly and welcoming. And one of the best sri lankan food we tried, everything is homemade. The bed was good and the place is very quiet, we had a good sleep. Kumar (one of the son), works for hostel so he knows all the little things that make a good stay. You're really 5mn by walk from the railway, which was very convenient for us. Thanks for the hospitality, I hope I may come again

Most amazing service, best hospitality, the manager Saman did everything to make our stay very pleasant. Special thanks to Viduna and Hassan, who help us with everything, they were the kindest people we have ever met. Special thanks to our chef Denura, who made every meal delicious. This is the best hotel we stayed at in Sri Lanka. I won't go back to Sri Lanka, but I can at least advice other people to come back here for me. The room was beautiful, spacious and tidy. The beds were comfortable. The Wi-Fi was the best we ever had. The bathroom was clean. The view was pretty. The building looked magnificent. I loved the long narrow balcony that continued to the other side of the room. The garden looked classic and luxurious. Also, it wasn't very damp, which I did expect in the mountains. Our parking spot for our tuktuk was next to our hotel and beside the garden, which was perfect. We had our vegan dinner from room service and the taste was very good.

    Superb location, it has nice views of Puna ella waterfall and lokking over the kotmale reservoir. Can see the lower ramboda falls also. We were very satisfied with spacious room and the views it offered. Super relaxing spot. Food was good and they had a big SL food menu.They have very friendly staff.
