Our favourite house in Japan and wish we could stay longer. The room was so spatial, modern and well kept. Bed and linens are extremely comfortable. Washing machine and dryer are available. Netflix is also a plus. The host was very friendly and helpful.

Everything was great! The house is lovely, a good mix of older Japanese features and modern comforts. It was cozy, the kitchen worked well and the in-house onsen was a perk! Communication with Alex was also excellent.

I didn’t regret for booking 2N here. It’s not cheap but there’s some which are even more expensive… We paid ¥58908 half board ( dinner +breakfast) each night for a couple. They’ve a welcome drink ( apple juice n coffee) daily. There’s a large relaxing room with comfortable chairs for you to admire the garden n ice-creams ( though very small ones) provided n water . We were given 15 min onsen free for couple-room which you can paid for 1-hr usage if you like to spend longer time with your spouse. They’ve gender segregated onsen for hotel guests free. The meals are just heavenly. Staff are helpful n friendly n can speak some English ( very important for non-locals like us who don’t speak n understand Japanese ) Definitely will come back if visiting this place again. Lastly want to thank Tsuta Onsen Ryokan and Booking.com for their alliance together so that I can book confidently without worry ( some ryokans only book via their website n it’s all in Japanese 😅🤣🥹) . Always Booking.com is my FIRST CHOICE in all my booking for hotel stay as they presented the important n relevant information clearly. The cabins are cozy and clean. Plenty of space for six in a single shared space. The staff is very friendly and the camping is in a great location on the waterfront.

The interior is a little dated and the rooms a bit retro, but it is very quiet, inexpensive, has beautiful surroundings, and a great selection of onsen. In the evening I used the outdoor onsen and enjoyed the full moon. The next morning I used the indoor and met some friendly locals.

Location is excellent if you want to wake up to a scenic view of the sun rise over the surrounding hills with mist and cloud. Rooms are spacious and kitchen is well equipped to cook.
