Everything. Room, view, bathroom, service, everything was incredibly amazing. We have a very pleasant stay and pleasant onsen as well. Just to remind that English is very limited, but it is not a problem for us at all.

Very quiet and only one other guest so I could sleep well without being disturbed. Also there were many toilets and bathroom was very big. The communal area felt very comfortable and it was ideal for chatting to other guests while eating food. The beds also had a foldable shelf at the end which was very convenient for keeping my stuff.

Overall fantastic experience. Hosts extremely helpful and friendly. Could not do enough to make our stay wonderful. Arrangement of last minute taxis to get us up and off the mountains at either end of Dewa Sanzan was done extremely quickly and well. Food amazing. A truly fantastic and memorable experience. Very kind hosts. The food was excellent. The room was comfortable and clean. Everything was very clean. They kindly packed us a lunch for our hike on Mt Gassan.

Very convenient house, large with a lot of facilities and private parking. Sota-san is a great host. The location is perfect, close to the main spots and excellent restaurants and coffee places. There is also a great museum run by Sato-san with Lots of good memories about the 80’ties and 90’ties!
