The people where super friendly and the house is outstanding. Our stay at Yukara was very pleasent and enjoyable, and the location is nice and quiet. The owners of the house even drove us from the train station to the accommondation for free :)

Everything! It is a couple of minutes from the Shinkansen station. Very convenient to visit Hakodate with a train if you are planning to continue your journey on the Shinkansen. We only paid 42 euros for the room with a giant breakfast and a small dinner included. Very clean and spacious room with the biggest bed we had in 3 weeks in Japan. The best amenities. And we had a city view from the 10th floor, which was also very nice.

It’s a special experience for foreigners like us to stay in this hotel, it’s old and bit outdated,no English at all, it’s purely for Japanese, but we found it very pleasant and comfortable.

The dinner and breakfast were absolutely amazing. The food is some of the best Washoku I have had in a long long time. The room had a massive double king bed and a beautiful view of the ocean. The private onsen was also so amazing. Apparently, one of the taxi drivers my partner and I took mentioned that Emperor Hirohito back in Showa 1954 had apparently stayed at this location many years ago. That should pretty much describe how amazing this place is.

A 15-minute drive from the Mount Hakodate, Bourou Noguchi Hakodate features modern accommodations with Wi-Fi in the guest rooms.
