Nakanoshima is an idyllic location; the island is the perfect place to relax and leave all your tensions behind. The personnel, facilities, and service ensure your stay is spotless and exceeds all expectations. We only stayed here for a night, but I wish I could stay for two or three more.

The house itself is not new but it’s not old, impeccably clean with everything you need and parking on site. The hosts were absolutely delightful and helped us with restaurant choices. This property is a beautiful home situated right at the bottom of the Daimonzaka. The location is absolutely amazing. There is a little river running out front, the house is tucked away into the trees so it is very private, and there are stone steps that run through a little bamboo grove, right to the Daimonzaka just a few meters away. It’s very special. The house is also very comfortable with the beauty of and old-style Japanese house, combined with all the modern amenities including western beds and a washlet toilet.

The house was spotless and had all the necessary amenities for a very comfortable stay. We loved that it’s a fusion of traditional Japanese and modern interior decor. Looks like it has just been done up. All the appliances look new. Our host is a lovely lady who showered our child and us with omiage and treats. Wish we could stay longer!
