Great location, 10min walking to the bamboo forest and temple. Get there early, this makes a big difference in crowd sizes in these very touristic places. This home stay is one of my favorite during the 14 days stay in Japan. I love the fact that the kitchen was so well equipped with all cooking utensils- equivalent to the ones that I am using at home. Wonderful Ryokan - serene location with onsen which was fabulous . Good sized room . Staff were lovely and the full Japanese breakfast was ‘different ‘ but an amazing experience . Dressing gown , slippers and traditional clothing provided which added to making it a unique Japanese experience . Shuttle service to and from the station is also a big plus and extremely helpful.

The staff is lovely and accomodating. Both the private bath, public onsen and private onsen are refreshing and outdoors. The food is amazing and the portions were great. Very quiet location and rooms feel very private.

good location which is close to san-in lineKameoka.station,just 2 min walk. Breakfirst is included with both Japenese and westen style. public shower is provided, very clean. About 10 min' train to Saga arashiyama. supermarket AEON is just few min walk from the station. Good value for money,and definetely recomend
