We loved our stay at Hotel Marina. Our room was perfect and very well suited to the town and it's surroundings. Exactly what we wanted and the photos a true representation. We decided to go for cozy, comfortable, clean, mid-town though close enough to the beach ⛱ and we got exactly that. The staff was friendly and helpful. The VERY BEST breakfast... during our stay in Italy. We must congratulate and commend the team. The croissants and lemon smoothies over and above the already delicious delectable breakfast. Every night, we walked from Old Town Monterosso to New Town Monterosso, amazingly beautiful, relaxing and romantic .... a walk one will NEVER TIRE off. I am convinced we chose the best hotel and the best town in Cinque Terre, as we wanted to be able to take long walks along the beach, in a setting allowing one to rest, relax - starting the day, being spoiled with an outstanding breakfast...... traveling the five stunningly enchanting towns of Cinque Terre.

This place was a real hideaway in a crowded small town. In the squares there were a lot of people and quite noisy but this was just 100m from the most visited restaurants and it was so calm and quiet. The manager Giorgio was super friendly with great info about Monterosso, boats, trains, hiking etc. The room was well cleaned every day och even though it was a light breakfast it had anything you needed like Coffey, yoghurt, bread, juice etc. I would really choose this place if I went there again. Monterosso is the best village to stay when visting Cinque Terre.

Location was great. Hotel staff were fantastic. These rooms are unique and although different don’t be put off by the see in shower it really is not an issue. And people walking past really don’t notice you. Sitting in the garden. The hot-tub is well maintained and water is emptied and tub cleaned after each guest.

The lady went extra mile for us! Not only she picked us up from train station so we wouldn't have to climb the stairs with our baggage, she also made sure to take us back because it was raining. She was very kind and easy to communicate with. She also managed to upgrade us! Breakfast was super complete and varied, and you could help yourself to tea/coffee anytime. The place was clean and quiet. 5min walk to the seaside which was convenient.

Amazing place, it looks so much better than in the pictures! Very nice host and her father! Such pleasant people! Great full breakfast! It takes 8 minutes to reach the beach area, but it is mostly stairs - important to know! Free private parking! We really enjoyed staying at the place!

Our stay at Albergo Al Carugio was amazing. The location was perfect, the hotel was close to the beach and the station. The room was comfortable with airconditioning and wifi. The host Andrea was very kind and helpful, he gave us tips for activities and sight seeing. His colleague was the most kind lady, who helped us with the check-in.
