Cabin on a farm next to horse paddocks. Loved looking out over the fields to the horses! There were over half a dozen foals and lovely to watch them gambling so close to the cabin. Very quiet, no traffic or people noise, only the sounds of birds, horses and the wind. Kitchenette well equipped with coffee maker and condiments, cooked a few breakfasts and dinners including a BBQ dinner on the third night we were there. Bathroom was modern and roomy. Krissa was a wonderful host, thank you for making our stay enjoyable! Excellent location to base ourselves for visits to Thingvellir NP, Vestmannaeyjar and Hveragerði for hot springs and horse riding.

The location is great. The room itself is very cozy, the bed is super comfortable. Bathroom is beautiful and well equipped and the warm shower was so nice after a cold and rainy day. There is also a radiator that heats up the room very quickly. There are a small fridge and a kettle as well. It was very peaceful, the sound isolation is great. It was a wonderful start of our journey, I would gladly come back!

1. Great location by the ocean. 2. There were six of us and we booked a deluxe two bedroom apartment, which had an outdoor terrace. We were there in mid-July, so we were able to enjoy a nice evening outside. 3. Well equipped kitchen and dining area. 4. Very clean bathroom. We would definitely come back again.
