I'm a vegetarian. The food is delicious. They serve the best veggie dishes. Many restaurants use a lot of oil when cooking. But this hotel is different. I go to many Indian restaurants in Japan, but this hotel is definitely the best.

The breakfast was good and all the dishes we ordered at the restaurant were fresh and tasty. And the rooms were nice. We stayed at the stream villas. They were spacious and there was a sofa bed in all the rooms that helped to increase the occupancy capacity in a single villa, without needing an extra bed. There were many activities like badminton, table tennis, archery, cycling, outdoor pool, etc. They also arranged a boat on demand to do one-hour boating in the backwaters. Overall, it was a comfortable and pleasant stay.

Review: I had an amazing stay at this guesthouse! The owners are incredibly hospitable and made me feel at home from the moment I arrived. They were always ready to help with anything I needed and gave great recommendations. The breakfast was delicious, with fresh and tasty options every morning. Another highlight is the location – just a 5-minute walk to a beautiful and clean beach. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

A short yet highly relaxing stay. The ayurveda consultation, followed by massages and the food were the highlights, complimented by rejuvenating yoga session, extremely friendly staff, nice spacious room, and the splendid location bang on the lake. The overall vibe of the place is amazing. Thanks Shantitheeram team for creating such a beautiful experience for us! Whenever possible, we will certainly return to Shantitheeram for a longer and comprehensive panchakarma detox program.

Great stay. Absolutely peaceful place. The owner is very friendly host and provides everything you ask for. Had an absolutely wonderful stay in Marari Irene homestay. Binu and his family are gracious, warm and very friendly hosts. The homestay is in a perfect location, safe, clean and luxurious. The house offers a large, private, accommodation area on the first floor, is very beautiful and provides an authentic and local experience with a wonderful garden in front. Delicious meals and other local fruits etc can be ordered from the in-house cook who is very helpful to make it a comfortable stay. The property is located in Viakom which is very close to Allepey and is also perfect for a workation. I recommend including a visit to Viakom in your Kerala itinerary and especially visiting the Viakom Mahadev temple. The hosts were very helpful in suggesting places to visit, nearby attractions and even helping in organising our itinerary and taxi for the entire trip. They gave great suggestions for our onwards journey to Munnar and organising tea estate visits. I highly recommend staying at Anandam stays to avoid the typical touristic feeling of Alleppey with its multiple resorts and rather stay in Viakom to get a feeling for the local area. An added bonus is getting to know Binu and his family which made our visit to Kerala a memorable travel journey !
