Their genuine affection towards their guests and eagerness to give the best local experience. The warm hospitality is commendable. Their villa on the riverside backwaters is awesome. The boat ride fetching us from the villa directly is so convenient. The local Kerala cuisine prepared by Mrs Joan is mouth watering. The early morning and evenings spent at this homestay are truly lifetime memories. We carried back lots of nutmugs from their garden, pure coconut oil gifted by Mrs and Mrs Joseph and ofcourse life time memories. God bless this beautiful couple abundantly !

We had a pleasant stay over there.. The host and his father was kind-hearted . They welcomed us and greeted us pleasantly. The rooms, bathrooms and living room were well maintained and the delicious food was served. Overall our family had a wonderful experience staying in Anandam Homestays at Vaikom. If I could give this place 10 stars I would! The location and hospitality are tied for first place in my heart. They brought me fresh chai upon arrival, offered to let me borrow a bicycle to cycle around the canals, helped me to book a boat ride at sunrise, and provided me with the perfect place to unwind and relax. The AC is a wonderful bonus! I’ll be back. Thank you for the best time on the backwaters!

Wonderful experience! The property is gorgeous and tranquil. It is far from the town of Alleppey, which meant we had to travel by tuk tuk to get anywhere (like to a kayaking trip), but the position allowe for it to be peaceful, have a remote feeling, and not be full of mosquitoes! The food was excellent, particularly the breakfast buffet, which was also very affordable. The service was also incredible. The staff was very kind and attentive. Most of all, we loved the amenities, like the pool, badminton court, and gym. We are a couple and enjoyed it very much, but saw lots of families enjoying their experiences too. Highly recommend!
