The location was only a few minutes by car to Collooney itself. There are two supermarkets stocking everything you need for a stay. Very easy to reach Sligo town by car. The house had enough space for the four of us. I really liked the big bedroom with en-suite and walk-in wardrobe. There were 2 tvs so everyone was happy. There’s also a utility room with a washing machine. I enjoyed walking around the beautiful garden each evening and sitting on the bench outside. Clodagh left some goodies which went down well with the kids and the wine with the adults.

I had a wonderful stay at The Driftwood. Really spacious rooms which were beautifully decorated and the bed was huge! Right on the seafront :)

What's not to like. The hosts are lovely people, the surroundings are serene, the room is spacious and well thought out for a comfortable stay. You can really tell that the hosts are making an effort. The bed was very comfortable, the location is very quiet and undisturbed. The goats that welcome you are icing on the cake. The room is stocked with breakfast materials and the kitchen corner is fully equipped so that you can cook your own meals.

A beautiful country base to explore sligo, with beautiful views of the mountains. The property is conviently located near the main routes to the north west and not disturbed by traffic .The facilities are excellent for self catering and the hosts who live next door are very helpful in a charming way.There is a nice ambience here and we will be returning.
