- it was really away from any noise, lightening etc, a truly virgin location - the host was very helpful and provided us with charcoal for bbq and logs for a fire for just 5-10£ - the cabin itself was very well insulated and warm during our stay - we had everything we needed

Shepherd's hut is perfect for couples seeking solitude. Just enough room for your stuff inside the hut, on-site parking, well equipped kitchenette, nicely decorated, comfy beds, clean. My stay at Glenorchy was great. I chose it due to its proximity to the trains and busses and the ability to hike nearby. The owners of the B&B were very helpful and kept in constant contact with me leading up to the stay. It was also very affordable.

Due to a canceled ferry to Oban, we arrived 4 hours later than expected at 11.30pm. The owner was very undestanding when we called him, and he received us with a hearty welcome when we eventually arrived! The owner gave us excellent sightseeing tips for the region and for our road trip to Edinburgh!

Beautiful location. Very helpful and enthusiastic staff, especially Mike, they were there at 10.30 pm to help us check in with our huge luggage after a long winding trip from the Isle of Skye. Very good food, excellent spread.
