The guesthouse is freshly renovated and carefully thought out in every detail. Very calm and safe environment, too. Only 20 minutes drive away from Legoland. We were actually very lucky to be the first guests of it!

The location of Hyrdeskolen is absolutely beautiful, with woods and vast green fields around. It's peacefully and quiet. One of the room's windows is facing South where beautiful sunsets can be seen but it's better to go outside. There is a space to sit outside with your morning coffee or at any time of the day. The room is simple but it's clean with two comfortable armchairs, there is a fridge, kettle and a Tchibo coffee machine, which I much appreciated. It's a lovely touch to facilitate a good coffee machine with a nice coffee in the room, so you can have a morning brew before you go on with your day. The owners are kind, thoughtful and friendly people. We could also see dogs in training, which was very interesting. When we are back in Denmark, we will be looking to stay in Hyrdeskolen again. P.S. The only thing that I was missing was some kind of clothes storage, for example, a simple rail with few hangers in the room/ wall hooks to hang some clothing from the briefcase. Wow! There are so many great things I can say about this superb accommodation. I traveled to Vejle along with my two sisters and we were immediately greeted with the best hospitality. Ana, the hostess, was easy to communicate with via WhatsApp and she did everything she could to help us get to the accommodation as we were arriving late from Billund. Right off the bat, we were showed above and beyond hospitality. Ana and her husband Nikolai made us feel comfortable and were so kind to us. She even gave us some apples from her garden! How sweet!! The apartment was so clean. As someone with a bit of OCD about cleanliness, I felt such a breath of fresh air when I saw how put together and spotless everything was. It was also decorated so beautifully and we enjoyed the cosy feel. There was a list of guidelines/travel suggestions on the table that we found very very convenient. We appreciated the structure and enjoyed the recommendations of restaurants to go to and places to visit that they wrote down. We were only staying for a night and we were so sad to leave. As soon as we got home, we made sure to tell our parents they had to book a getaway in Vejle at Vila Ana. The location was lovely, there was a great view and everything was so comfortable. We slept like rocks on the beds lol. This stay made us want to move to Denmark! Seriously - it was that amazing.
