Very clean and new. Nice decent breakfast. Short stroll along river to ancient town, away from the crowded areas in the city. Free drinks in Mini bar. Near metro station but never tried taking the train.

While the lobby is intimate in size, this only serves to enhance its inviting, residential feel, much like a well-appointed living room, which immediately makes one feel at home. The quality of the accommodations is matched only by the excellence of the staff. The entire team was courteous and attentive, but I must offer a special commendation to Lucky. She provided outstanding service, offering insightful and personalized guidance on the various attractions I could visit in Chongqing. Her recommendations were invaluable and greatly enriched my exploration of the city. Her willingness to assist with any inquiry was consistently met with a genuine and cheerful attitude. Furthermore, the dining experience was a highlight of each morning. The breakfast offered a delightful array of options, all of which were delicious and thoughtfully prepared. The atmosphere in the dining area was relaxed and inviting, providing a perfect start to the day. A particular standout was the Chongqing noodles, which were an absolute culinary delight and a fantastic way to experience local flavor. Without any reservation, I highly recommend the Wuyu Hotel to any traveler seeking a refined, comfortable, and authentically welcoming base for their journey in Chongqing. It is a truly commendable establishment.

Friendly and attentive staff. Free use of washing machine. Comfortable bed. Everything clean. Nice view from bedroom window. Close to metro station and shopping centre.

The manager was amazing in giving recommendations, responding to my text queries faster than an insurance agent. Even drove us on the first night for city view.

The staffs here is amazing, front desk Number 1 and 2 are very polite, efficient and friendly always! I will definitely come back again if I go back to chongqing.

We had the pleasure of staying at HYGGE Hotel from December 15-20, 2024. Initially booked for three nights, we extended our stay by two more nights due to the hotel's exceptional value for money. The hotel's location is ideal, with two major MRT stations nearby. Situated on the 7th and 8th floors of a shopping and food complex, we were spoiled for choice with over 50 restaurants within a 1-minute walk. A local spa was also conveniently located just three floors down. Our check-in experience was seamless, even at 1:30 am. The front desk staff were welcoming and efficient. We enjoyed the simple yet delicious Chinese breakfast, which offered a variety of options and freshly brewed coffee. Our room was comfortable and spacious, with a fantastic view of the local park, courtesy of a complimentary upgrade. Another pleasant surprise was the free laundry service, which was promptly collected and returned. However, the true standout was the hotel staff. Every single member of the team was polite, professional, and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. They even helped us plan a day trip to Chongqing Wulong Karst Geological Park, securing us the best deal and value. On our last day, the hotel kindly allowed us to stay in the lobby until midnight, offering complimentary drinks and snacks. Our flight back to Singapore was at 2am so this rest stop really helped us! This level of service is rare, even for a seasoned traveler like myself. In conclusion, HYGGE Hotel Chongqing exceeded our expectations in every way. We highly recommend it to anyone seeking exceptional value, comfort, and service.

Front desk staff were really helpful in helping me book for the 1 day trip to Wulong Karst & Fairy Mountain. Wayyy cheaper than booking online. It's only roughly 400RMB for the 1 day trip. look for the manager Rebecca if she's there at the outlet if you need any help, she can speak fluent English. Other front desk staff can also speak simple English :). And also a bonus, they help you wash, dry+fold your laundry for free! Just give them a basket of your dirty clothes and they'll wash it clean and return to your room! It's a lil bit tricky to find the hotel, but they will send you pictures on how to walk with directions so you don't get lost :)
