The breakfast was a la carte, and very quick. The surprise call when we were boarding the ferry to inform of the complimentary pick up was wonderful, (I'd somehow missed this option). The walk up through the forest behind the hotel was lovely. Most importantly the room, hotel and spa facilities were incredible.

I booked this for my daughter and her partner. She also stayed at the Waldorf Versaille which actually had fireworks that she could see from her room overlooking the palace. We truly enjoyed our stay! The location is fantastic, and the host was very friendly and welcoming. We were greeted with sweets and drinks upon arrival, which was a lovely touch. The kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances, and there’s even a helpful user manual for the dishwasher, stove, and other equipment. Fresh condiments and cooking essentials were available in the cupboard, which we really appreciated. The beds were incredibly comfortable—just what we needed after a full day of exploring—and the cleanliness of the entire place was impeccable. The views are stunning, with a serene lake at the front and mountains at the back. The neighborhood is quiet and relaxing, and the Volg supermarket is just a short walk away. Overall, it was a perfect stay, and we’d definitely love to come back again.
