Simple rooms is a great place to stay, offering a great value-for-money ratio. Markus, the owner of the place, is an extremely warm and welcoming person. He makes sure the accommodation is spotlessly clean and comfy, where everyone feels at home. The building is newly renovated and offers new furniture and excellent bathroom facilities. There are also 2 kitchens with cooking facilities and a coffee vending machine. We highly recommend this place.

Loved this comfortable and quiet stay in Urnasch. It was perfectly cozy and a great starting/end point for my hikes in the Appenzell area (only 30 mins away by train). Jessica was also very chill and friendly, she gave me some extra rosti she'd made too. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll definitely stay here again.

    Good location, a little bit from the main road, quiet, with a view of the mountains while lying on the bed. Easy to travel by car to Zurich or Lucerne, or just go for a drive in the mountains. The owners were friendly and helpful, and the apartment had the best equipped kitchen I have ever seen. Overall, a very pleasant and comfortable stay!
