Our group of friends had an absolutely fantastic stay at this guesthouse! The location was truly amazing – it provided the perfect base for exploring the area and offered a wonderful atmosphere. What really made our experience special was the incredibly lovely hostess. She was so welcoming, friendly, and always ready to help with a smile. Her kindness truly made us feel at home. As a bonus for animal lovers, we also really enjoyed the company of the guesthouse's dogs. They were so sweet and friendly, adding an extra touch of warmth to our stay. Very welcoming, helpful and kind host! We stayed at Haghpat Hotel four nights and felt comfortable from the very beginning. They serve local Armenian food, which we enjoyed a lot! Healthy, organic, very tasty and full of surprise. The hotel is located next to the world famous monastry in the main square of the village. It’s busy and sometimes a bit noisy, but you are part of the village life.

We ordered a dinner from the host, the dinner is too enrich, and it's nice the host provided the breakfast in free of charge. The location is very good and about 5 mins walk to the monastery.

The host is super kind & attentive. Also a great cook. We stayed one day only, but it has been great to relax with a beer in the swimming pool watching the sun set over the canyon.
