The accommodation provides private check-in and check-out and bicycle parking for guests. Our host, Sebastien, went above and beyond to meet our needs. He greeted us when we arrived, helping us to find free parking nearby. He responded to requests immediately. He provided breakfast every day, even providing a vegan alternative to milk for one of us. He also shared information on good local restaurants and things to do. The room itself was spacious and well-equipped and the kitchen had good quality appliances. The location of the flat was right in the heart of Campeche.

Arturo Agueros was a wonderful manager of this hotel complex of wonderful rooms in a jungle like garden setting right off of route 186 in Xpujil--which is the closest town to three incredible Mayan archeological sites----Calakmul, Balumku and Becan. Arturo helped us arrange a reasonable cost driver and guide into Calakmul, Balumku and an incredible bat cave. (the bats eat the mosquitoes in the jungle). Arturo personally drove us to Becan and picked us up without a cost. He speaks good English. The room was spotless, cleaned daily and fresh purified water provided. The gardens were beautiful here -- one can sit on the porch or in a hammock and listen to birds in the early morning--heavenly. The Ado bus station is within walking distance to the hotel on the main road of 186 in Xpujil. We loved this place !!! We liked the fact it was very close to the old city center (10 mins walking) yet outside of it, so it felt more authentic. Also, the owner was extremely kind and generous, leaving us fruits and some food in the fridge when we arrived and was welcoming and friendly when we chatted in the back yard in the morning. He even helped us out and gave us a ride to the airport on the day we left.
