The location of the ryokan is fantastic - very close to the station (Yamanote line), right next to a convenience store and a very nice riverside park. The staff is very friendly and the ryokan was extremely clean and well maintained, the tatami smelled brand new and the room had a very pleasant fresh wooden smell to it. This might become my new go-to place to stay in Tokyo.

There is a bath for each gender on site and both the female and male baths offer a view of Senso-ji Temple’s Five-storied Pagoda. This was my second time staying at the ryokan, I love it. Just like the first time, the staff was very attentive, polite, and helpful. The ryokan is very well located, close to Asakusa Temple, shopping streets, and the subway. Despite the busy streets, the ryokan is very quiet. The bathroom is quite modern, and the room maintains the traditional style while also being spacious.

Among the facilities at this property are a lift and luggage storage space, along with free WiFi throughout the property. Rooms are fitted with a balcony. I enjoyed that the location was less than a 6 minute walk from the Kikukawa Station. This location was also near two Family Mart Convenience Stores which made it easy to get water or food even at strange hours of the night. It was also near a McDonalds and Jonathans if you're someone like me who enjoys breakfast. I also enjoyed how spacious the apartment was in comparison to some of the hotels I looked at that seemed quite narrow. I had a lot of luggage so this was a primary factor in me choosing this space. Facilities wise, we were also able to do laundry which I enjoyed. The stay offers laundry detergent and you use the heating system in the bathroom to be able to dry your clothes which was a pleasant feature given most Asia countries air dry their clothes outside. I enjoyed that amenities like tooth paste, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were provided in the bathroom. There's also a hair dryer and vacuum. The vacuum was needed to clean the floor since unlike a hotel that cleans the rooms daily, you would need to clean this apartment yourself. If you aren't interested in a loud city area, this is the perfect place to stay as it's close enough to areas like Asakusa, Akihabra, Shinjuku, and Shibuya. I enjoyed how quite the neighborhood was and how I was able to be walk around both in the daytime and nighttime peacefully!
