We had an unforgettable stay at Satsuki! The host is truly a heartwarming person – incredibly kind, caring, and always there when you need help. After we got lost while hiking, he kindly came to pick us up. We also had some amazing, heartfelt conversations with him – such a beautiful and thoughtful soul! He speaks perfect English and gave us great insider tips and restaurant recommendations. Thanks to him, we had the best Okonomiyaki at a nearby local spot – so delicious and unique! It was a completely different experience from Tokyo, where things often felt more impersonal. Here, everything was filled with warmth and sincerity. We also enjoyed a typical Japanese breakfast, which was simple, delicious, and such a special experience. It’s those little moments that make a Japan trip feel truly complete and authentic. The house is cozy, peaceful, and perfect for hiking. There are supermarkets nearby, and the whole area has a romantic and relaxing vibe. It’s an ideal place for couples, nature lovers, or anyone seeking a quiet break from the big cities. We felt completely at home and are already looking forward to coming back. Thank you for making our stay so special – this place and its people will stay in our hearts!

奈良五條の宿 彩 irodori se encuentra a 29 km de Subaru Hall y ofrece jardín, además de alojamiento con aire acondicionado, terraza y wifi gratis. Miyuki was wonderful: very helpful; charming and a terrific cook! The place could be a little hard to find but Miyuki picked us up at the station and it turns out there's an easy 15-minute walk to Suda station that's not on Google maps. It's a semi-rural setting and quite peaceful and was a great base for us for a day at Koyasan. The facilities were very modern and spotless and Miyuki's breakfasts were wonderful. Highly reommended, if the location suits you (as it did us.)

Hiroko is easy to talk to. She always checks in and asks how things are once she is available, friendly but not in a pushy way. She and Dane are nice couple, they always provide help. Staying here is like staying home.

Yuzan apartment Sanjo, que tiene vistas al jardín, ofrece alojamiento con terraza y balcón a unos 18 km de Iwafune Shrine. Gorgeous authentic old Japanese house very well located in the heart of Nara and very close from shops and key locations (in a calm street). The house is beautiful, very big and has everything needed for a short or a long and comfortable stay! Everything is very clean, facilities are convenient and well equipped. The owner is very kind and helpful, great communication and warm welcome! So far my best booking on this app and my favorite place to stay in Japan, I 100% recommend it!

SLOW HOUSE NARA está en Nara, a 19 km de Iwafune Shrine y a 22 km de Estadio de rugby Higashiosaka Hanazono. Está ubicado a 11 minutos de la estación del JR, una muy buena atención y comodidad en las habitaciones, cerca al Park Of Nara donde se ven los siervos a 12 minutos caminando. Lo recomiendo 200%

Houtouji Temple se encuentra en Yoshino, a 34 km de Subaru Hall y a 38 km de Estación de tren de Nara. Ofrece alojamiento con wifi gratis, aire acondicionado y acceso a unjardín con terraza. El lugar es muy bonito está cerca de la estación. Me fueron a buscar y la familia que vive abajo también es muy amable! Es muy tranquilo y por la mañana es posible participar de las oraciones, así que todo increíble!

Guest House Oku es un alojamiento de 2 estrellas situado en Nara, a 1,8 km de Estación de tren de Nara y a 18 km de Iwafune Shrine. Please stay here! This stay is one of my favourite from my trip around Japan. Yoko, the guest house owner is so so friendly, she has a lovely, kind energy and she makes you feel at home. I went in January 2025 (winter) and stayed with two other friends in the Economy Triple Room with Shared Bathroom. I was amazed by how lovely the room was, the tatami floors and sliding doors had a wonderful traditional feel, and there was even a seperate connecting room with a kotatsu table! This is such a cosy authentic Japanese experience, I felt very lucky to stay here. After traveling around a lot, hotel after hotel, having the feeling of being at home is so important. The room was spacious enough for all of us and the futons were so comfy, I slept like a log. The guesthouse was very clean, both our rooms, the toilet and bathroom area was kept so neat and clean. There's even a communal area with a guitar and place to sit and drink tea. When we first arrived, we chatted with Yoko and she mades us tea and gave us snacks in this area, it was lovely. I definitely recommend this stay, the location was super convenient for walking to local tourist attractions. If I return to Nara, I would love to stay at this guesthouse again.
