This one was great, with enough space and a shower that let us renew ourselves every day after a long walk. I wouldn't think twice about returning to the property during my next visit to Kyoto. Very kind staff who spoke English. They let us leave our luggage before checkin which was handy.

Amazing staff, super nice and very helpful: we were offered tea and sweets when we arrived, they also helped carrying our luggages to our room and provided many information about the surroundings and Kyoto in general. You can use the onsen in front of the hotel for free, it had many bath, a sauna, truly amazing ! The room was a traditionnal japanese tatami mat one, you have different options for your futon, it was very comfortable. Breakfast was also very good. We felt very welcome and had an amazing stay, thank you !

Both Kiyomizu Gojo and Shichijo stations for the Keihan Main Line are situated within a 10-minute walk. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful in giving travel suggestions. The atmosphere in the place is lovely, clean, cozy and comfortable. Exceptionally good breakfast with super fresh fruit and Jam!

Free Wi-Fi access is available at the entire property. This was my favorite hotel. Unfortunately, when I arrived, I was sick from food poisoning and could not enjoy it to the max, but the staff was extremely good to me. I cannot thank them enough. The futon beds were extremely comfortable, all the structure really took me back to almost 200 years ago. I really wanted to get the traditional breakfast, but I was too sick so I got the western one that was delicious. Cant wait to be back.

Cute location next to a small river in a quiet neighborhood. The room was spacious, seperate bathroom and toilet and a nice view from the window. The entry to the building and room is by code so you don't always have to bring an annoying keycard with you. There was free bottled water in the lobby. The host Kevin gave us all important information via Whatsapp and even offered to drive us to the station at the end of our stay.
