We experienced sub zero temperatures outside but only extreme warmth from our hosts. A lovely family who actually live in the house next door. The heating was left on longer and firewood was supplied to keep us warm. It was a cold week, we were so glad we were looked after. This is a spacious family property with a very big outdoor space. Ideal for a young family. I totally recommend this property in the tranquille irish countryside.

It was nice to stay in a little dignified Irish village like Silvermines. Far from the madding crowd of Dublin on my way to Shannon airport. I also felt my car was safe outside which is important to a driver. Helen was a chatty personable Irish host but not intrusive nor over familiar. I liked her professional approach.
