This is an amazing opportunity to stay with a local family in gorgeous valley surrounded by mountains. The bedroom is upstairs by an exterior and private staircase with its own bathroom. There were 2 rooms and 2 bathrooms but we were alone since it was a bit off season. We spent our time hiking the area and relaxing in the yard. We ate breakfast and dinner at the guesthouse and the food was fresh, amazing, bountiful and a great value. Be sure to eat here. I requested vegetarian and it was no problem. The hostess and owner is just lovely. I can’t recommend this guesthouse enough. Hands down the best experience of our trip. A real cultural treat. Don’t miss it.

The garden invites to relax and thei whole staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We stayed for three nights just to relax and recharge and enjoyed every minute.

This was our second night of peaks of the Balkans, really lovely staff. We arrived completely soaked through so we’re very grateful when the fire was put on. Incredibly welcoming host, breathtaking views, comfortable beds. While our host couldn’t speak fluent English, she went out of her way to help us out, packaging our breakfast up for us to eat on the hike and arranging a lift to the start of the trailhead. Just make sure you take cash with you! I didn’t realise most of Valbonë and Theth don’t accept cards so cash is king!!
