The fact that we stayed for 2 extra nights says a lot. Rooms were big and clean and the hosts made us feel at home. After previous, more expensive accomodation, we were pleasently surprised as it is very budget friendly but also has everything we need. It is like in pictures plus very close to the beach. The owner was taking us to amazing places around. We would definitely come back.

Amazing place to stay! Modern, clean and spacious room. Friendly and helpful staff. The best working wifi from all places we stayed in Zanzibar. Delicious breakfast. Just 2 minutes from the beach with many restaurants. Lovely pool area with clean and blue water. Highly recommend this place in Paje!

It was amazing stay! Super nice location just few minutes walking to beach. We booked appartment which was amazing for price value as well whole property is super clean, very hipster and as well good breakfast. Whole stuff was very friendly and make sure we feel really comfortable during our stay. They help us organize the trips and transport if we needed as well gave us the tips which places to visit. Overall since we travel the island we find this stay the best. Would highly recommend it for anyone. Big shout out to the reception lady @ Shania which was amazing and as well making sure that everyday our stay is special! Thanks again for all!

I booked a bed in a dorm and everything was great. Comfy bed with mosquito net, very clean bedroom and bathroom, AC... The staff & manager were friendly, the breakfast was super good ! The location is central in Paje, everything is nearby, but it's still quiet and perfect for resting.

Even though it’s not beachfront, the location is still very good — just a short walk to the main road where you can easily catch a local bus (Dala Dala). It's also simple to get around using a bajaji or boda boda (motorbike) to explore nearby attractions like The Rock Restaurant, Maalum Cave, Jambiani Beach, and Pingwe Beach. The room exceeded with comfortable bed, strong hot water pressure, and everything in excellent condition, definitely better than other places we stayed in Zanzibar. A big plus is their backup generator, which ensured seamless electricity even during power cuts or low voltage. We paid a bit extra for the kitchen, though honestly, it wasn’t really necessary — there are plenty of restaurants nearby, especially around the roundabout area, with good options that are both affordable and tasty. Special mention to Omary — he’s always around or just a quick text away. His responsiveness made us feel safe and well taken care of throughout our stay. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a reliable and comfortable base while exploring the area!

    Villa Kiota is a gem of a boutique hotel a short walk from the beach. The breakfast was great and included local fruit, fresh juice and lots of healthy and/or filling options. My partner especially liked the fresh bread with guacamole and cheese. The staff were very helpful and friendly. They helped us plan tours, arrive at the right locations, and find a post office box for our postcards. Also, there are numerous great restaurants within a few minutes' walk on the beach. This hotel is an incredible value for all it has to offer.

    We arrived in Villa Huruma and felt immediately relaxed. Lucy was incredibly welcoming! Thank for my girlfriend's birthday cake and decorations. We can see why people honeymoon here ♥️ Breakfast was top notch. Top tip: you can order everything on the menu ;)

    We felt very good while we stayed at Villa Huruma, the staff were amazing (so nice and kind) - they were all the time attentive at our needs and the food at the restaurant hotel was nice too! For cleanness and facilities we would also give a 10/10!! Last but not the least, the hotel is very well located (very close to the beach and the local shops too), so all in all, we can only say that we loved the place!! We recommend it to everyone who wants to have a relaxing time in Zanzibar! P.s. The private pool is a definite extra bonus!!
