Everything- The place is close to the beach and very nice restaurants. It is situated in a quiet area away from all the noise and crowds. The ammenities are basic and it is not a luxury hotel that you find on the beach. Cool and Calm hotel is smaller and more personal. It's clean and the bed was the comfiest bed that we found in Zanzibar. There is a laundry service and free secure parking inside the hotel complex. Breakfast is included in the room price and it is delicious and filling. They have a menu for lunch and dinner as well. We had the chicken masala and chicken salad. Wowww!! Lastly, i want to commend Cool and Calm hotel for their service. From the moment we walked in, we just felt so welcome. Ali and his collegue treated us like friends. It was a great place to end our honeymoon. Thank you so much. If you are looking for great value for money, outstanding service, great food and a good night's rest, go stay at Cool and Calm hotel.

🇵🇭 All were excellent for budget friendly accomodation. Staffs were very accommodating especially Musa. Hard working guy. Will show you how to get around and of good value too. Ask him for tours he knows the best spots. Will sure to book again. Calling all kabayans 🇵🇭 sulit dito. Malapit lang din sa beach.

We had a ground floor room and although there was no sea view i preferd to doing stairs ,them was very close to the beach and resturant at which the food(big portions and tasty) and drinks are reasonably priced a big plus.The staff were amazing well trained certious and polite another big plus.

We stayed for 6 wonderful nights. Very friendly owner and staffs. The rooms are new, clean and very spacoius. Thers is a fridge in the room that makes it easier for the guest to store cold drinks in the December heat. The breakfast and the food in general was delicious. The place is quiet and very beautiful with different kinds of fruit trees. The garden/ whole compound is well kept. The pool is very clean. The place is quite secluded makes it a nice place when you need to relax. We genuinely recommend this place.

    The villas were modern, well designed & sizeable with goid hot water facilities. This is more at the budget end of Kendwa prices but was what we needed. The chef is absolutely fantastic and the food prices are very fair which meant we ate on premise most nights and sometimes for dinner. Rooms were comfortable. Staff very happy & helpful.

    Beautiful villa. Very nice staff, well maintained place. There was no tv on the living room on the first day but we talked about it and on the next day there it was. Good shower and good bed. Not on the beach but pretty close

    This is a family run business at the south of Kendwa beach. Becca and his sisters have set up a wonderful facility. They are very close of the village so I enjoyed both the local and "tourist" perspectives.
