Perfect location on heights near taranaki, overlooking a small valley. Close to many attractive spots, such as mangorei trails, Pukeiti garden. There is a nice bath tub on the decker, from which you can see the valley while taking bath. The lodge is well designed with open access to outdoors and with privacy. This was one of the best accommodation we have stayed at during our travels thru New Zealand. It truly spoiled us and I believe we will have a hard time finding anything better.
